Glass Notepad

Although it's had plenty of chances, the Windows Notepad hasn't really kept up with the graphic look of recent versions of Windows. That's why many Microsoft users look for more attractive alternatives to the well-known Notepad

One option is Glass Notepad, which takes advantage of what Aero has to offer by displaying a look that is based entirely on transparency.

Using Glass Notepad, you can see through the window's title bar as well as the menu bar and the text input area itself, even after you've started writing.

When it comes to function, Glass Notepad is similar to the Windows Notepad. It does add a word counter and some other interface modification options, including one that gets rid of the transparent look.
